Anthony J. Schiuma graduated Cum Laude from Florida State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management before earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2015.

Before joining The Injury Firm, Mr. Schiuma built a diverse legal background representing injured workers under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, Defense Base Act, and War Hazards Compensation Act. In that role, he successfully advocated for clients around the globe before the U.S. Department of Labor, the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs, and the Office of Administrative Law Judges.

Mr. Schiuma also gained invaluable experience working for one of Florida’s largest insurance defense firms, where he litigated Workers’ Compensation and Auto Accident cases in the No-Fault Personal Injury Protection division. He further sharpened his trial skills as an Assistant State Attorney for Broward County, Florida. There, he served as a division leader in the Felony Trial Unit, prosecuting first-degree felonies and cases punishable by life imprisonment. He later joined the Economic Crimes Unit, handling complex fraud, theft, and exploitation cases. Over the course of his career as a prosecutor, Mr. Schiuma managed thousands of felony and misdemeanor cases and tried more than 20 jury trials to verdict.

Recognized for his excellence in advocacy, Mr. Schiuma has been named to Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers – Rising Stars (2023–2025) and The National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 (2024–2025).
